Not wanting to "invest" in portable corrals, electric fence or tie my
horse to the trailer, I was wondering if anyone has restrainded your
horse with the method I see at dog field trials. It is a stake with a
swivel on top, in the ground, with garden hose over a chain or rope,
about 10 ft. in length, clipped to the horses halter. The horse then has
a 20ft diameter circle to wander around.

I want to make this setup, but have not seen anyone using this method at
the two rides I have been at. Does anyone use this method???
