Hey Teddy,

I used that method many years ago while I was in high school. It's an old
cowboy trick. I had an *awful* tempered mare who would pull back at the
drop of a dime. An old cowboy friend of mine took her and put a rope around
her belly and through her halter and tied her up to a telephone pole. Guess
what? She got the message. You're right, though, you have to *refresh*
their memory every once in a while. But to me, this still seems to be the
safest, most effective way to deal with the problem.

It's so wonderful that so much sound, useful advice can be accessed through
Ridecamp. Keep it coming!
