I know I've said this to someone else, but incase I haven't posted it,
there is a book called FATS THAT HEAL FATS THAT KILL that I think all of
you would be interested in. Of main value to me has been the info on how
oils are processed and what chemical changes take place as they make their
way into a non-spoilable state. The most light, heat and oxygen sensitive
oils are stored in dark, hard seeds and have more than caloric value, the
(superunsaturates) linolenic and alpha-linoleic acids are actually more
important to health than many vitamins, and are so important in making
hormones and other complex jobs at the cellular level. they also increase
metabolism and give more energy. write with any ques, but go look for
yourself (and your horses). This is an area of nutrition most people are
still in the dark about. publ by ALIVE BOOKS, author Dr. UDO ERASMUS
