Well, I STRONGLY disagree with what was posted!!! I believe and yes this is
MY opion but a rider should be JUST as fit as the horse. If you require your
horse to be fit no matter what you should be to!!! If you aren't you don't
belong on your horse untill you are capable of handling it!! I also would
just about die if I wasn't able to get off once and a while, but I am very
fit so that is not a problem. I just get sore!! It also helps the horse,
gives them a break.

When I think of the word ENDURANCE I think endurance for both horse and
rider.... that is why I like this sport. If endurance does become only a
horse sport I will no longer enjoy it.

This is my two cents worth and only my opion.
