Tommy,
I know that you often can't compare one ride to another because of terrain
etc., but the Tom Quilty 100 mile (Australia) last year was won in 8 hours 29
minutes. This included a few pretty serious hills and a lot of mud (after a
couple of inches of rain). The guy who came second did the last leg of (I
think from memory) 26 kilometers in 59 minutes.
