shoes and stirrups

I received a new pair of ariats for christmas (aren't I special?)
and they get stuck in my english stirrups...not a good situation.

I do ride in an english Argentina saddle (very comfortable for us
so why change) and want to buy new stirrups. Maybe the EZ Comfort ones
but wonder how they will work / perform on an english saddle. Aren't
they more for western or endurance saddles?

Does anyone else ride in english saddles? What stirrups do you
use?
