We arrived in Utah about two and a half weeks prior to the ROC last year.
We come from FL so that is about as different as you get to the Rockies.
It took about a week to ten days and they were absolutely fine.

In fact it took a lot longer to reacclimiate to the humidity back east than
it did to acclimate to the altitude in the mountains.
