Proposition - Ride descriptions

I was thinking the same thing as Susan Evans about getting information together
to describe rides as I was going over the ride calendar looking for a good
1st 50 in the middle of the summer, and a good 1st 100 at the end of the year.
There are very few descriptions on these rides on-line... although a few do a
great job.

I would offer to write-up descriptions of rides I've done, but I'd personally
like to see a general form that describes all of the basics, and includes comments
from multiple riders on ride specific matters such as crew access, support for
crewless (and clueless!) riders, suitability for a first ride, etc. What I would
really like to know are things like "have a butt cover or blanket at the Fireworks
lunch stop in case the wind picks up" - in the blazing hot California summer, many
of us don't think about those things until after we've done the ride.

If people want to suggest form contents, I'd be happy to collect them and post
them back to the group in a week, maybe we could start a ride.FAQ, of see if we
can keep the information on-line at the site.

What do you folks think? Would this be a good group effort? If it's deemed worthy,
I can collect input on form contents, and we can take it from there.
