Just a note regarding the raffle - we had donated in the past several
breedings to our stallion. We quit doing this mostly because several of the
recipients were from out of the area, and they would have had to either ship
the mare or ship semen. We had a couple insist that teh free breeding
included those costs as well, and one woman even said that it was "false
advertising" not to include those costs. We just didn't want to deal with
that. So tothose of youwho win those kinds of prizes, please consider what
the prize IS and what it ISN'T before you contact the giver. That really
soured us on the raffle. If we ever do it again, it would only be in our
region. We now sponsor prizes for individual rides and 4H.
