Saddle; 38 LINES

I have just purchased a Sports Saddle for my husband who is planning on
just trail riding this year. (I, on the other hand, am planning on
stealing his saddle and using it on 50's...).

Does anyone have any comments regarding saddle pads for the Sports Saddle?

Coolback/Synthetic material vs. Natural Wool

Has anyone had any problems with using the Sports Saddle with
Coolback/Synthetic (ie: Cloud Nine saddle pads with the inserts)?

Sally, what works for me, and the only thing I will currently use
is the skito pad with equilizer foam. The fleece bottom is a wool/
polyester mix, mostly wool, or you can buy one with 100% wool
bottom. It is also shaped to the back (unlike the Tolkat pad which
is straight across), and so has the inserts raised on either side of
the spine. They make a pad specially for the Sport Saddle, which
has the inserts that are larger than the saddle, so the entire
contact area of the saddle in on foam. I am also very happy with
how the pads have worn, and in hot weather have had no problems with
any heat bumps.
