A good way to mark items is with a black magic marker. Write on the sides
of your buckets, on your blankets, the backs of your chairs, the lids of
your buckets, hay bags, etc. It sometimes fades so you have to re-do it
every so often. For the items that you can't mark on, use a little metal
engraved dog tag. They are cheap ($1.99 if you buy 6 - I can get anybody
that wants the 800# to order). I get the brass ones and have put them on
every bridle, halter and saddle in addition to my vet check bag. (even my
stethoscope!) If my horse should ever get away from me he will have his
little I.D. on him telling his name, my name and address/phone.

Happy Trails,
