I was out of town the past week. When I returned and downloaded my mail
last Friday I had over 300 messages form (ops I mean from) the group and
only a few (less than two hand full of fingers) had much to do with the
topic of this group - endurance riding. The problem is that with so much
chaff it is very easy to over look the germ. My I suggest a protocol. If
only one person is interseted in your response then E-mail it privately, i.
e., don't carry on private conversations in public. Keep to the subject -
endurance riding, not sacking, not grammer, not spelling, etc., and keep
the "me-to's" to a min. Finally if you are going to flame someone's
scrawny butt back to the stone ages, please do it in private - most of us
don't care to see peoples' dirty laundry aired in public.

I am going to be out of town the next two weeks. Hopefully I don't get a
call from my internet provider requesting that he be allowed to log my mail
off to tape so he has some disk space.
