Great news!!! I had Star ultrasounded yesterday. My vet told me in
November that he injured his rear superficial digital flexor tendon and
needed 6 months off. Anyway, the ultrasound reveled no damage to any of
the structures of his leg. Needless-to-say, I was more than estatic. He
said the swelling was probable due to bruising and stress from the hills
and that I can start riding him again right away.

Now if only the weather would cooperate...
