For information for each state on equine liability laws, livestock laws
(fencing, range and estray), recreation use statues (limiting liability for
owner allowing free use of land), cruelty statutes, EIA requirements,
selected case law and law articles involving horses, and safety issues, see
the web site of the American Association of Horsemanship Safety at
http://www.law.utexas.edu/dawson/index.htm. Missing are brand inspection
laws.

The site also has reprints all articles involving horses that have appeared
