Hi Laura,

This definately got my attention! I'm a C.E.S.M.T (Certified Equine Sports Massage
Therapist) and this sort of thing I work with all the time. I only wish I could have
seen the horse BEFORE you went to the vet; your horse wouldn't be like that now!

I don't know where in Florida you are, but one of the best Equine Sports Massage
Programs in the country, Don Doran, whom I know many of you know well, is based in
Ocala. Anyhow, find one in your area and get them out ASAP. Your horse has sustained
muscle damage in his neck which is in the process of being patched up by his body with
collagen deposits, functioning like glue, and which by themselves will be there forever
unless they are broken up and resolved by someone who knows how - a massage therapist.
I won't bore you with all the details, but there is a lot that can be done with massage
to make your horse a whole lot more comfortable. And a number of complementary therapies
that I would use in conjuction and further support to help the horse heal himself,
naturally.

Let me know how this comes out.
