Sounds like your trailer is too narrow for horses to spread their feet & too
wide to hold their body. (That-s why the hay bag cushio worked). We always
use the treated pine 2x6 0r 2x8 for replacing floors, holds up better than
oak. If you change your own motor oil the used oil can be poured on the
floor, especially around the edges. Just make sure not to get it on the top
of the mats! And the mats have to stay put also!
