The times I've heard it, there is more activity in the gut than is normal,
and it sounds... like sand moving. Don't know how else to put it! Put sand
in a bag, and gently move the bag. It sounds a little like putting a sea shell
to your ear to "listen to the ocean"! At least it does to me.
