1) agree wholeheartedly with Cheryl re: headgear also,
2) Cheryl-tell me more about this video! I'd like to see 30 horses
performing bridleless at the same time. (Not dazled but would ENJOY it.)

3) Karen- very much agree with your position on LD. Until this discussion
did not know much about LD as they are rare in my area New England. My
first ride was a 50 and maybe I'd have taken that first endurance experience
earlier if there had been a LD around.

4) Have a Ford Explorer-love it! However, we don't tow a horse trailer with
it. My sister is looking into getting one to pull a 2horse and said she has
been warned (by Ford mechanic who doesn't want to be quoted!) that the
transmission will "go" at approx 50,000mi if used for towing. They may be
better on the newer and/or a specially equipped model. Looked into the
larger edition, think it's called Expedition? Good luck. I'm a definite
Ford fan. I seem to "blow engines" in other name brand vehicles! I use a
4x4 diesel truck to pull my 4 horse trailer and can definitely recommend it!

5) Lauren- "more dirty laundry" unfortunately, I was treated exactly the
same except my daughter sent the check as a birthday present. She
absolutely refused to get back to me to even answer inquiries. I discourage
new people from subscribing for this reason and I really liked reading the
magazine!
