Well, I've been on vacation and this is probably an exhausted subject,
HOWEVER...
I'd like to add my two cents for the Big Horn saddles because it seems they
get trashed often.

I own two - one cordura and one all leather. I've had the cordura for eight
years and used it on a variety of horses. It's fit MOST of them comfortably
with no problem. It works well on my Polish Arab gelding. I did take it and
have it relined with a nice thick wool lining after a few years of use. I've
also kept a close eye on the tree and had no problems.

The stirrups that come with the saddle are useless - they're very cheap.
I've used Flex Ride stirrups all along.

I find the saddle incredibly comfortable to ride with a sheepskin cover on
it. Not too bad without it, either.

For awhile I had a Stubben Siegfried that was great for me but soreing my
horse's back so I promptly sold it.

The moral to the story is that if you're looking for a saddle and have an
opportunity to try a Big Horn - give it a try. You may be pleasantly
surprised. The cost range of $450 - $550 is great, too.

I know saddle fit is a very personal thing but I wanted to let everyone know
that the Big Horn can be a great saddle.
