Seaking of Trakheners, Jim Barnett has been riding one (about 15-2) for
several years. He and this horse have finished in the year end top 10 SE
region for the past several years. Jim has won many rides with this guy.
I asked Jim at the SERA convention why he got a Trakhener. He said he was
tired of dealing with Arabs and wanted a horse that was easier to deal
with. (Don't flame me I didn't say it :) ). He got a good deal since this
guy was too small for what Trakheners usually do.
