OK Julia - do you have a sense of humor? If not, skip this post.

Yes people have a preferance of Polish and Egyptian Arabians.
Go to one side of the fence and you'll hear one thing. Go to the
other and you'll hear that the other side is better.

As far as colour goes, yes the Arab should have color. I think
that red heads run faster. At least my Chestnuts run faster than
my Bay trying to turn grey does. Didn't we decide a while back that
you should ride a dark horse during the ride, but take a white or
light grey into the vet check?

Now, a little bit serious.
Look for a horse with a long loose stride, easy to ride, nice personality,
and manageable. Any breed can do endurance, some need a bit more work
than others.
