Hey Doug ..did this get resolved?? try a feedbag? i have used it ..they will
eat if its in their face...hehe.
on long hauls i un-load and they will eat grass and i keep a bucket of grain
by the trailer door.. and offer it while walking around.. i have tried fixing
a bucket of water in the stall near the hay bag.. appears they will drink and
take hay when we stop for gas or a rest stop...
i unload if the trip is over 8 hrs .. i try to find a truck stop with a
grassy area..
