ride survey suggestion

I don't know how many of you managed to fill out a ride survey form for a
ride but I have an idea...

I often intend to but Sunday is always busy after a ride - esp if I'm
trying
to get out early due to a long drive. Then I get home and the survey gets
lost in the shuffle lots of times. So what happens is that when I have the
time to fill it out it's gone forever.

What if a generic ride survey was on-line? Either on the endurance page or
the AERC page (or both)? It could then be filled out and submitted to AERC
and then maybe forwarded back to the ride manager? Is that too much to ask
of AERC?

Or maybe it could be avaible to be filled out, printed, and mailed by the
individual.

Tina, do you mean by "survey" those evaluation forms that the ride managers
use for feedback on what people thought of their ride?

If so, I heard of an interesting way to handle that. A ride manager, I
can't remember where, told me that at her rides the rider's don't get their
award until they turn in an evaluation form. I thought that sounded like
"constructive extortion" (oxymoron intended). by this methoud the manager
will know what EVERYONE thought of the ride, not just those few that always
make thier opinions heard.

Just FYI.
