Morgan horse

Okay, here's the question. I need some honest and forthright opinions here.
If you were looking at a Morgan horse for a comp. trail, endurance prospect
that could also be used for some low level dressage or combined training (a
good all around mount), what would she go for? This horse is 14.1, has
Kingston bloodlines (for anyone who knows the bloodlines), good
confirmation, very atheltic, 5 years old. She is only green broke, but does
pretty well. Over one year ago, she had 60 days with a trainer and then has
been pretty much ignored for the last year. I began riding her a month ago
b/c my friend wants to sell her and I've fallen in love with her. She's not
spooky, though she can be opinionated. she likes to jump and goes over
cavelletti readily. She's a very quick learner. I've had 2 lessons with two
different trainers on her and both have said we look good together and seem
to click. My husband thinks she's over priced so I want to know what a
horse with the above qualifications would sell for in different parts of the
country. I really want to get into comp. trail and think she's a good
prospect. I'm not making a decision until I get to trail ride her outside,
but want some pricing guidelines. for this reason, I'm not mentioning her
price here.

So the next question, is what would expect to pay for a "made" horse in this
area that was also capable of some dressage? My husband thinks that perhaps
I should spend equal dollars and buy a trained horse.

Third question: when I take her on the trail, what should I look for in her
ability to navigate and react. she's never really been trail ridden and I
have no idea how she'll react. So what reactions should I look for and hope
for. What might indicate a good competitive horse and what should I look for
that would indicate a poor prospect.

I appreciate all the help I can get. And thanks ahead of time.
