Right now, I have three horses I am conditioning and racing that are
doing quite well on a molasses based feed. They also did just as well on a
dry cob mix, plain oats, soaked oats, equine senior and just about what ever
else I have fed. One is very picky and gets bored with his feed so I have to
change it every once in a while. I train and race with a HR monitor and
found no differences in heartrates or in recovery rates.
