Doesn't anybody have any stories to share about Death Valley? Come on you
guys!!!! There were several people there that I know of that are on this
list.

I would, but don't have much to tell about since we only rode one day. At
least we got there and back safely, that was a pretty major accomplishment
in itself. We did have a great ride on the first day, thanks to Jim &
Jackie for putting on a really great ride.

Weaver wasn't quite right the second day, I believe muscle sore in his chest
and neck, and of course he is home now and absolutely FINE!!! I still don't
feel experienced enough to know if he would come out of it, so I took the
safe route and gave him a break, afterall I've put 200 miles on him since
Thanksgiving.

It's a good thing we came home early, for those of you who have seen the
news we are smack dab in the middle of all this flooding and I've been kept
busy with my search and rescue duties. The area I live in is devestated,
and we currently are still trapped with no highways or roads open to get out
of town, and nobody can get here either.

Congratulations to all of you who completed the ride!!! Extra special
congrats to Pat Gay and Lady for completing all four days!!!! I knew you
could do it Pat, you've got a great horse :))).

Happy Trails!!
