I learned of the SS saddle girth galling while on the second day of the
Outlaw Trail. Well my friend, Drin Becker, wouldn't give me back my
other saddle to use!! I even begged and offered bribery of one pound of
peanut M&Ms. So, what to do?
For $6, I bought one of those fuzzy girth covers from one of the tack
shops that was along with the ride. I never had another problem. I
still use the SS girth to this day.
John Henry finished all 5 days too.
