Just a note - this happens more often than one would think. i have seen it
more than pnce and it does at first mimic a tendon problem; but just about
24-36 hours of primary treatment for an abcess (Soaking, which of course does
no harm to a potential bow) generally gives some relief, which lends itself
to that diagnosis. The horse next door just went through that.
