IMO, there are several audiences on this list. The ones who like the
stories; the ones who want advice on the introductory aspects of endurance;
the ones who are starved for the info on the technical principals; those
who are concerned where the sport is headed and some others.

I happen to be in a couple of these categories, and I'm extremely grateful
for this forum to explore and discuss all of these topics. I don't have
time to read all the threads, but for the ones which are irrelevant to my
concerns, I have a delete key.

I happen to understand Tom's style of discussion. My dad has the same
style of presentation. Wants to get to the meat of the matter, does not
suffer fools gladly, but would not intentionally offend anyone.

Please don't "bug out", Tom! Your comments are relevant and welcomed by
most on this list. Your expertise is extremely valuable to our concerns.

Fine with me. It's been fun folks.
