Professions write headlines such as the following:

Police Begin Campaign to Run Down Jaywalkers
Squad Helps Dog Bite Victim
Enraged Cow Injures Farmer with Ax
Drunken Drivers Paid $1000
Deer Kill 17,000
Kids Make Nutritious Snacks
Ban on Soliciting Dead in Trotwood
Miners Refuse to Work after Death

I've got pages of this stuff.

This forum is a club. A bunch of people with similar interests have
come together to discuss their favorit topic - endurance riding. We
are not necessarily a perfect cross section of the AERC, endurance riding,
or anything other than folks with a common interest who have access to
computers. Some people are more vocal than others. Some people hold
stronger views than others. Sometimes we agree and sometimes we don't
agree. We are just like any other group of people.

I get a bit steamed when I read "ALL YOU PEOPLE ARE JERKS" or some such
crap. Generally, the person writing this hasn't been on the list long
enough to read what goes on here. Instead, they are reacting to what
some one has told them they read. (Note that the person who wrote about
not writing headlines didn't say this.)

We are here to write about what we like (endurance riding), what we
don't like about it, how to help each other, techniques, and anything
related to endurance riding. We all have the right to express our
views here as long as it sort of relates to endurance riding.
If you don't like someones ideas, you have the right to say so.
But you don't have the right to tell them not to express their ideas.

*End of sermon for the day*
