Hello,
hope everyone is going to have a great holiday!! I am a farrier or stated
differently I am the pit crew for my wife. she has wanted me to try to
answer some of your questions about shoeing problems with the endurance
breed(s).
Background: shoeing horses for ten years (also an occasional zebra), the
bread and butter comes from the hunter and jumper show horses around the
Atlanta area, yes I did work the olympics. Critical lameness is what most of
the phone calls are about that I recieve.
If you do have Questions there are a few questions that must be answered
first:
- horse name, age, distance , region of country, experience, wieght.
height
- rider wieght, hieght, experience
- problem start of ride, end of ride, training phases
- terrain, footing
- has the horse seen the vet?
- ttraining proceedures

Sounds like a resume, but, if i don't get the details only assumptions can
be made.

thanks,
Jaye
