A long time ago I had a trotter that would faint and fall back into the j=

cart when you were putting on his overcheck to take him out to the track.=
The
solution was to start him up and have him moving before fastening the
overcheck. When you're fastening the overcheck on a standardbred, it
temporarily lifts the horses head--I think this may have had to do with
circulation rather than narcolepsy.
Damn horse squashed three bikes before we got him figured out.
