I know that NV and OR both require neg. coggins test in last 6 months and
health cert no older than 30 days. They will also ask for proof of ownership
if stopped, ie. copy of papers, pictures of you with the horse, etc.

I travel sbetween CA and NV all the time and have never been asked for any
paperwork. But I have heard of many people like Karen getting stopped
randomly by highway patrol in NV.

If you are traveling to OR I reccomend up to date paperwork. At the ag stop
there they more often than not ask for paperwork and have even asked peolpe
to unload the horses for inspection.

Just my experiewnce out here in the wild west.

PS: I am not legal :-( though I gues it really is a good idea though it can
get real expensive.
