Forgot to mention that as we were leaving Vegas this a.m. we were pulled
over by the state brand inspector. Checking for proper travel documents.
Of course I had them - but if I hadn't it would have been a $600 fine, and
possible impounding of the horse. Just wanted to warn other riders to make
sure when they travel to different states that they carry the proper
paperwork. I think the inspector was out there pulling over every horse
trailer that went by - so I'm sure we weren't the only ones to get pulled
over.
Adding another $600 to the cost of this trip would have made for a VERY
expensive endurance ride!!!
(but it still would have been worth it!!!)
