I DO NOT think cash prizes should be given at endurance rides. We will be no
better than all the other sports that abuse their equines for monetary
benefit (of course I am generalizing but think about the incidents at rides
now where horses are raced beyond their capability at age 5 to win a
blanket???).

This is definitely a good discussion piece.
