The real question is did Pfizer perform research associated with the types
of metabolic stress that an endurance horse is under during a 100 mile
ride? Pfizer is a good company and has more to loose with doctoring the
numbers than they have to gain. Endurance horses are put through much more
metabolic stress than are other horses, I doubt that other research,
unless done on endurance horses during a time of peak competition, would
shed much more light on the issue.

There have also been cases where this product is suspected to have
compromised the metabolic soundness of proven endurance horses. There are
also several highly respected equine sports vets that don't reccomend daily
wormers for endurance horses whereas the average vet does reccomend the
product. The average vet, however, has very little appreciation the
stresses associated with endurance riding. All these items raise a yellow
flag to me and I would not use the product unless there was some overriding
reason to do so.
