Last weekend we did our first 25 mile ride. Well, Sabian was shod for
the first time ever 10 days earlier. Since having shoes put on, he is
hitting his feet together. Sometimes his front feet hit his rear hoof
walls just below the coronary band and sometimes his back hoofs nick his
heel bulbs.
I had my farrier out Friday to see his way of going. He watched and saw
him striking. Said for me to order bell boots to protect the feet and
that he had some things he wants to do but his feet had to grow a bit to
make the changes.
Does anyone have experience with this problem and what can be done? He
never had this problem when he was barefoot.

Sabian-I sure wish I'd stop kicking myself in the foots...I love this
endurance thing, but my feet have got to get their sight back.
