AH-HA!!

This HAD to come up and I am READY for you!!!

Not to negate what a wonder the superior and talented athlete is..we still
have a problem...that is the human factor.

Those of you who recognize (by whatever methods) the superior athlete must
not take advantage of this adversly. There is, I believe, a great
responsibility here. You still cannot neglect the factors of proper care,
nutrition, training and competition. No, we CANNOT take this animal for
granted!!!

Those of you who have had the prividge of owning or knowing someone who owns
one of these wonderful creatures has seen the best and worst of
treatment...both the animal who has been nurtured carefully to do the very
best safely and judiciously and the animal who is ridden to extremes just
because he can do it. We have all seen good horses rise and fall and some of
us have seen great horses go to the top, given their best opportunities as
well as those who are "could have beens".

Let us all be careful. We take a deep responsibility upon our shoulders with
ANY horse all for the love of this sport (thank goodness not for the money).
Treat your animal with his due respect NO MATTER WHAT HIS ABILITIES and use
his abilities accordingly.
