Misty runs about 20 tp 30 points lower afer the first 10 miles or so. I
don't know about Dan - I haven't ridden him enough yet to have a baseline.
He is not as excitable so it will probably not be as dramatic.

Mathew MacKay Smith wrote a good descripition of why this happens. It
appeared in the Trail Blazer publication - "Best of Blazer" several years.
It has to do with all the systems reaching optimal efficiency. This is why
a good warmup is so important.
