I love my monitor too, they are invaluable!!! I have a question for those
of you that use them. I was starting to get really weird readings (like 237
while standing), so I replaced the battery, and got new electrodes and
wires. Everything worked MUCH better, however, there are times where it
still gives really wild readings, and it didn't used to do that. Do I need
to replace the transmitter - will that eventually wear out? I've used my
monitor for about three years. It's gotten a lot of use. If I reset it,
off, then start again (it's the model with the hi-lo alarm), then I will get
a correct reading.

I can't even say how much I have learned about my horses from using a HRM.
