Still, this is fun. I wish we could have these kinds of discussions in
horseracing lists.

A warning: Susan is entirely right in that none of us knows the scientific
Truth about anything. There's just too much to know and a lot of what is
known has never been published in either journals or the lay press.
That's why each person's experience carries a lot of weight--in the end,
it is the coach and the athlete that innovate--science stumbles along
behind, cleaning up the messes made by shattered theories.
