I'm impressed. All you guys were right. Now, is it okay to
wear them for everyday as well as ride in them? Or are they like
running shoes, and will lose their support if you wear them every
day? I like them so much I would like to wear them for work, too,
but I'll stick to just riding in them if necessary.

I have found this also, and I had only had mine for 5 months when they split
over the top of one foot. After several conversations with Ariat, they
FINALLY agreed to replace them. They felt that i had just abused them but I
rarely wore them except in the saddle, I saved them for riding. But WATER and
then drying seems to break down the very fine leather, and since only one
shoe was affected, and I told them that an expensive shoe should not be worn
our before the sole, they did replace them. I am curious about the new one,
the Extreme. I might get that if I find it on sale. I love my Ariats, but I
expect $100 pair of shoes to last a while.
