That was just not any "race to the finish". The other two with Valerie
were Nina Warren and Ballad who won the '94 ROC (45 minutes ahead of
Valerie and Cash) and Malissa Crain and Whoa Jack who won the 93 ROC and
top tenned the 96 WEG. So it was a great race between great horses. The
last 16 mile loop at Long Leaf is a dirt/clay road loop. Fast, flat and
fast and it is really 16 miles.
