Hi All,
This is mainly for people in the vicinity of the or interested in attending
the Turkey Trot Ride.

A bit more info on the Turkey Trot ride.

5. There will be no "DAY OF RIDE" entries.
Kat in orange county asked, Why not?
Mainly, because we have to submit a list of entrants on Friday when we (ride
management) arrive which is before noon, therefore if we don't have you on
the list by Thursday evening, you may not be able to get into the park. More
info on this below.

The Turkey Trot ride is being held at Henry Coe State Park. I can't
emphasize the "state" part enough. They have a LOT of rules that we have to
submit to.

The main one listed in my last e-mail was no dogs allowed was very much
emphasized to us.

The park gate will be locked at all times and we will have to have an
attendant to allow people into the park. I just found out today (Nov. 10),
that we have to submit a list of entrants on Friday when we (ride management)
arrive.

For those not familiar with this park, this entrance to the park is only open
during Spring and Summer. So, it isn't available to ride in year 'round.

Also, PLEASE, if you are seriously interested in attending this ride please
contact me by Thur Nov 28 (I know it's Thanksgiving and my dad's birthday),
BUT leave me a message on the phone or e-mail me, with as much of the
pertinent information for a ride entry that you can, so we will have your
name on the list!! If you are not on the list as a ride entrant you may not
be allowed to enter the park.

I can't tell you how much paperwork had to be done to use this park, but it
will be well worth it and if everything goes well, hopefully next year will
be easier. And possibly access to more trails than we are being allowed this
year.

Again, if you have any questions about the ride either:
1. call Courtney Hart at 408-358-3904
2. call me (Mary Thompson-Moore) at 415-964-5250
3. or e-mail me at MThomp7389@aol.com

Thanks again!
Mary and Monte
