Too expensive. I make a simple pair out of cowhide with velcro that work
great and are much cheaper. No doubt the Ariats are nice, just too rich
for my pocketbook.

Me too Joyce!  I have a REALLY old pair of 1/2 chaps that I bought from 
Stateline about 10 years ago.  I've used them so much that they are no 
longer suede.  I can't part with them long enough to have them re-velcroed, 
so I use duct tape to hold them shut.  I wear them over my Ariat boots.  


I guess I'm just not fashion conscious!;-)
