I can't resist adding to this discussion. My husband
discovered that he had become allergic to his horse one day
when he rode bareback in shorts! I've told him that if he
ever makes me really mad, I'm gonna wash his underwear with
his horse blankets. He thinks that I'm evil... Ok, I often
brush his horse for him so he doesn't sneeze and snivel the
whole time we're riding. Seriously, on a medical note, for
anyone with allergies to horses, they are developing a
purified equine antigen for desensitization. They've
developed one for cats, which has about a 60% success rate.
They've developed one for dogs, but it doesn't seem to work
at all. The allergists/immunologists don't know why the cat
one works and the dog one doesn't. We'll have to see if the
horse one does any good.

Gale: I haven't forgotten, I just haven't had a chance to
find those references on cerebellar abiotrophy yet.
