Just my .02 WORTH - sport saddle
I have just started using the sport saddle on my fox trotter stallion and
cannot be more pleased or happy with his performance. I had been using an
orthoflex which needed shimming to keep it off his shoulders where he was
getting wavy hairs and an occasional dry spot. Then I went to the Big Horn
with a Woolback pad with felt inserts from Griffins. I love the saddle but
it was too wide, slightly, for my horse. Just a week ago I got my
sportsaddle - used - from someone on the list and I am thrilled. I
appartently have no pressure points or soring anywhere. I am using it with
the Griffins pad with 1" felt inserts, and am thinking about trying the
equalizer, just to be sure he doesn' t feel any pain. MY balance has
improved considerably, and the horse moves so freely, like never before, he
gaits like a fool!!!!!
Try a Fox Trotter - to ride one is to own one. Try a sport saddle - to ride
one is to own one.
