I think Diane should be commended for collecting the information she has on
saddles. It has helped me make up my mind what saddle to buy and what not
to buy. I've owned 5 endurance saddles and needed one to REALLY fit BUHNI
and ME. Only one of the 5 saddles fit BUHNI, but it put me too far forward
for the way I ride. I've also owned 6 dressage saddles but don't use those
for endurance due to the lack of weight distribution.

At one time my curiosity was piqued regarding the Sport Saddle. However,
once I saw the photos and realized there was no tree there to distribute
the rider's weight and protect the horse's back, I quickly changed my mind.

Reports from Orthoflex owners scared me. So, I did my own personal survey
of people I know who have OF saddles. Funny, only the people who sell them
would recommend them without reservation.

I've always thought the SR Enduro looked like an excellent quality saddle.
But, they're way out in CA and I'm here in CO.

I've been interested in the Sharon Saare for years. I've also known Sharon
for several years. Plus she lives only 30 minutes from my house. I've
heard good reports on her customer service. Diane's research put me over
the edge in favor of Sharon's product. So, that's what I bought. I just
got my saddle last Sunday and unfortunately, it has to be broken-in. (I'm
primarily accustomed to used saddles). Once the break-in process is
completed, I'll let you know how I like it.

BTW, Buhni says she likes it fine already.
