feetsies

I have the perfect answer. Ariat winter riding boots. I've had mine
2-years. They are lined with Thinsulate--tm and keep my feet warm and dry
year-round and "cool" in the summer.

Case in point, the infamous Antelope Island Blizzard this April. The only
parts of my body which were warm and dry were:
1) My head -- because of my polar fleece helmet liner from REI
2) My hands -- because of my plain ole deerskin gloves from the feed store
3) My feetsies -- because of my Ariats.

But, the rest of me was cold. I had on this "wonderful" wet-weather gear
that I paid an arm and a leg for at REI. But, it did not keep me dry and I
got drenched to the bone. (Had I foreseen the extent of this blizzard, I'd
have worn a Polarfleece jacket underneath instead of just a vest--live and
learn).

One more thing about my Ariats. I have thought for years (since 1985) that
the most comfortable riding/running/hiking shoes were Asics athletic shoes.
Well, since I discovered Ariats, I won't ride/hike/trail-run in anything
else. My feet NEVER hurt anymore after a ride and we did 250 miles in
August. AMF, I'm planning to go to the store and buy me a dress pair of
Ariats for the office (I'm serious) because, my feet feel so darn good in
them.

Well, that's enough product endorsement for the day. BTW, I don't sell or
get any kick-back from any product above.
