Long Hair in Winter

One of the fast and easy ways to dry that long winter hair
is the hair dryer. After a workout, put a light blanket on
the horse, and get out your hair dryer (or a dryer that you
just keep in the barn). Some of the horse vacumes have a
reverse position on them that blow air rather than suck air.

You still must cool out the horse as you normally would.
Then because of weather, if the horse is still wet, you can
use the hair dryer. Just let the dryer blow under the
blanket. It will keep the horse warm and dry the hair.

As will all new and noisy products, make sure that your horse
will accept the hair dryer.
